HADES: YES, I CAN BE DOWN SHORTLY.

[Hades will get himself out, and mostly... warpstrike his way to the shore, Robin likely seeing a sword land first, before Hades slams into the sand, creating a small crater where he lands. He is, himself, unaffected, simply standing up and brushing himself off.]

Robin...? I have arrived!

[He has warpstrike himself, but actually seeing it in action never fails to startle him.

Robin is in the ocean, black fishy tail peeking out of the water. He opens his mouth.]

Hades?

[Sirens have voices. It's kind of their whole thing. And Robin's voice is clear and strong.]

[daios]

[In Robin's defense, most people just, like, walk. Or ride a train or horse or something, but Hades has to be Extra.

He doesn't notice immediately the voice, marveling at the tail before he gives a doubletake.]

R-Robin...?! You....??? You spoke?

I was turned into a siren. Sirens have to have voices, to sing to people.

Surprise.

[This is what he's supposed to sound like.]

Ah...

[He smiles, then just starts heading into the water after Robin, regardless of his clothing.]

How does it feel to have a voice right now?

It feels great. I can tell you everything I wanted to say to you, in my own voice.

I really like you, Hades.

[daios]

[Hades' face turns red when he says that, and he attempts to play it off by continuing into the water, disregarding the fact that he's fully clothed(or what passes for that for Hades) in order to wrap his arms around Robin in an embrace.]

I really like you too, Robin. Even if I am constantly surprised with how you feel about me, haha~

That really makes me happy. [He squeezes Hades tight, or as tight as he can, anyway.]

Can I sing to you? I'll only get the chance now, so I don't want to waste it.

[daios]

I would be happy to hear you sing, Robin.

[He lets go of Robin then, just going to take a seat where it is shallow enough for him to do so, but happily staying in the water.]

[The problem is, what does he sing. He knows songs on the guitar, but he's never had to learn the words.

As it turns out, that's not a problem when you're a siren.]

Well, it's the way he smiles, and the way I swoon-

[He sings a sweet song, clearly and explicitly a love song.]

[Hades sits in the waves and listens, smiling the whole while. He doesn't think he's ever been serenaded to, and he may never get the opportunity again. It's a bittersweet thing, just as much as the slow realization Hades has that Robin might like him a lot more than he previously though.

He sits with it for awhile after Robin is done singing, just looking out into the water where he is.]

.... Robin...

Would you say that you "love" me?

...I think so. Is that okay?

[All the nerves return to Robin at once. What if that was too much, what if Hades doesn't feel the same way, what if what if what if.]

[He thinks so.

Hades isn't sure what he wanted the answer to be, and he's not sure that that isn't it. It does feel too soon, but more because Hades... never expected anyone to say that? Or even insinuate it. Is he even allowed to be loved?]

I....

........ If it is true, then it is okay, of course. I just. How?

[They're just fooling around, right? Just testing the waters? How could it be that anyone would find him suitable???]

It's definitely true, I wouldn't say it if it weren't.

[That'd be mean? And awful to Hades?]

I... I think you're wonderful, Hades. You make me feel warm when I even think about you, and I'm always thinking about you even when you're not there, and when we're together I'm very happy. You make me feel like I'm someone special, when I've never thought of myself that way.

[It would be alright, he thinks, if anyone were awful to him.]

I should not be the only one to do that for you, because you are special.

... I... I do not know what to say. I do not even know what love feels like, if this is it, but. Mhh. You make me happy, so I want to find out.

I don't either, really. But... I want to feel more of this feeling with you.

[He swims a little closer to Hades, so he can reach for his hands to squeeze them.]

[He is quiet for a moment. Hades is hardly a poet, so it isn't like he has anything romantic to say, just squeezing Robin's fingers with his own.]

I am glad. We have plenty of time yet to figure out what we are doing.

I am sorry that I am not capable of serenading you back.

That's okay. I can hear your voice all the time.

[Even if he can't sing, Robin still likes Hades' voice.]

Hah. Perhaps I could write you a poem instead, sometime. I may have given myself to a soldiering lifestyle, but I still have some ability to compose.

I want to do whatever it is that makes you happy, of course.

[If Robin likes the idea of a poem for him, then Hades can make something for it. It isn't too hard, even for him!]

And... I am very glad that I got to hear you sing!
